| This large stone cottage is ideal for someone looking for a natural getaway from it all kind of llifestyle. It is rural and private without being remote and is only 10 minutes walk to the local village. It is located within the Serra D'Acore national park near to Benfeita. The access is via a new track but the last 30 m is by bycle or on foot. The building needs renovating but the stone walls are all very straight and in good order. The land extends to about 6000 m2 (one and a half acres) and has olive trees, cherries and other fruit trees which will become more apparent when the land has ben cleared. There is a river running along the bottom of the field (30 mts from the house) which flows all year. No electricity but ideal for solar. A beautiful spot. |
